Bass Lessons

Learn to play the bass guitar in a variety of styles including rock, funk, jazz, gospel, hip-hop, folk, indie, R&B, and pop. We will primarily focus on how the bass functions within an ensemble or band, exploring its harmonic, melodic, textural, and rhythmic roles. 

We will explore concrete music theory rules and concepts as well as more abstract ideas like groove and time-feel.
